About Us

Rooted in Oregon.
Over 15 years ago, Michelle and Tyson Haworth founded sofresh farms with a clear vision:
“Promote health through the regenerative cultivation and delivery of exceptional quality cannabis.”
What began as a deeply personal journey—after Michelle’s second back surgery and a search for alternatives to harmful prescription medications—has grown into a mission-driven, family-owned business dedicated to health, sustainability, and community.
Located in Oregon’s fertile North Willamette Valley, sofresh is proud to be 100% locally owned and operated. Every step we take reflects our commitment to living soil, regenerative growing practices and building a workplace where people and the planet come first.
What We Stand For:
Regenerative Cultivation
We grow using living soil, compost, and natural pest management—including predatory insects and beneficial fungi—to produce clean, potent cannabis without synthetic inputs.
Low-Impact Practices
We capture and reuse rain and dehumidification water for irrigation. Waste heat from indoor grows is repurposed to warm greenhouses. Packaging is compostable or recyclable wherever possible.
Family-Owned & Operated
Michelle and Tyson, both Oregon natives from large multigenerational families, lead the farm with heart and hands-on care. Their values are the backbone of everything sofresh does.
People First
Our coworkers are like family. We offer a positive, supportive work environment, pay living wages, provide healthcare and retirement benefits, and invest in ongoing education and professional growth.
Community & Environmental Leadership
In 2014, sofresh was among Oregon’s first farms to earn Clean Green Certification—the cannabis industry’s equivalent to USDA Organic. We’re regularly featured in media for our pioneering sustainability and advocacy efforts.

Meet the Founders
Tyson Haworth
Born and raised in a large Oregon family, Tyson studied Sustainable Business at the University of Oregon and later earned his degree in Business Management and Marketing from the University of Phoenix. He brings vision, drive, and a deep-rooted respect for the land to sofresh farms.

Michelle Haworth
Born and raised in a big Oregon family, Michelle graduated from Portland State University with a degree in Speech Communications and Business after studying at Oregon State. Her personal health journey and passion for holistic wellness were the inspiration behind sofresh’s founding.
At sofresh, we believe cannabis should be clean, healing, and grown with purpose. We’re proud to cultivate more than plants—we’re growing a healthier future.
